The Center for Low Carbon Built Environment works to dramatically reduce carbon throughout the life-cycle of building. In order to do so, we are working with partners across the full value chain—from building and infrastructure materials suppliers, to designers, to construction firms, to operations and maintenance companies. The technology and tools we develop boost the efficiency of these built environment–related industries, even as they cut carbon.    

We know that our success depends on swiftly translating research findings into market actions. This can only be accomplished by working with stakeholders across a range of industries, as well as within the nonprofit and public sectors.
